If it was up to PNA member Stacy Kagan, you would never read or hear about a teenage driving accident again.  But if that is not statistically possible, then she is going to do everything she can to educate the teens and families of her community about the importance of safe driving.

As an Allstate agency owner in Coral Springs and Allstate spokesperson for Teen Driving, Stacy is passionate as an advocate for safe driving especially when it comes to a very susceptible, young group of people.  Stacy stated the frightening statistics best in a recent newspaper article:

“Five thousand teens are killed on the road every year in the US.  Vehicle accidents are the number one cause of teen deaths here.  As many as 300,000 kids are severely injured in car crashes every year. It is sad because accidents are very preventable.”

The time between Memorial Day and Labor Day is especially precarious for this group of drivers warns Stacy. It is considered the 100 deadliest days for teens.  Kids are out of school, on the road more, and attention to the road and their surroundings is not at its highest.  It is a time when education and constant safety reminders are crucial.
